Лошадь помогла человеку выжить и привела к цивилизации. Но даже когда пришел технический прогресс, человек не захотел дать ей свободу. Стал использовать в досуге, охране порядка, в конном спорте. А нравится ли все это самой лошади? Ее никто не спрашивал…

Много лет назад человек понял, что лошадь создана, чтобы быстро передвигаться, а ее силу можно использовать в хозяйстве, и задумался: как это сделать? Оказалось, только при помощи давления на самое уязвимое и болезненное место – рот. Человек вставил туда железную пластину, ставшую частью удил, и подчинил себе лошадь. Сегодня лошадь – обычное явление. Мы видим ее в цирке, прокате, в конном милицейском патруле, на спортивных площадках. Но вряд ли кто-нибудь задумывался, что она чувствует, когда человек садится ей на спину и давит удилами на уголки рта. Пока об этом не заговорил известный питерский журналист Александр Невзоров.

Несколько лет назад по одному из телеканалов прошли два его фильма: «Лошадиная энциклопедия» и «Лошадь, распятая и воскресшая», где он показал теневую сторону конного спорта. Зрители увидели бесчеловечность отношения человека к лошади: как он вырывает ей зубы, чтобы вложить в рот железо, удилами разрывает рот, в скачках делает до 40 ударов хлыстом. А при вскрытии в теле лошади обнаруживаются огромные гематомы от ударов. Ужасающие цифры и факты приводит супруга Александра Невзорова – Лидия, ипполог по профессии: «У 99% лошадей микропереломы челюсти от «железа», носовые и легочные кровотечения от больших нагрузок. У каждой как минимум 10 хронических заболеваний, несовместимых не то что со спортом, а даже просто с физической нагрузкой. А перед соревнованиями лошадь обкалывают обезболивающим, чтобы не видно было, что она хромает».

Лошадей начинают заезжать совсем молодыми, когда их опорно-двигательный аппарат еще не сформировался, нанося непоправимый вред позвоночнику. Конники-любители рассказывают еще более жуткие вещи: в конном спорте применяют электрошок, большие и острые шпоры, а для лучшей чувствительности на боку лошади делают надрез. В конкуре лошадь заставляют прыгать через препятствия. В выездке – выполнять неестественные движения, менять походку, ходить «в сборе»: с согнутыми ногами, опущенным крупом и скрученной в бараний рог шеей. В рысистых испытаниях – бегать искусственным аллюром: прибавленной рысью с высоко поднятой головой и махом передних ног.

Сильный вынос передних и затрудненный отхлест задних ног достигаются специальным приспособлением, которое давит на верхнюю челюсть и подбородок лошади, задирая голову и смещая центр тяжести назад. На той скорости, с которой гонят рысака на ипподроме, обычная лошадь уже скачет естественным аллюром. А рысаку при малейшей попытке опустить голову и перейти на галоп в нёбо врезается шип. «Примерно 90% рысаков имеют кровотечения из-за разрыва рта, нёба, языка. И все разговоры о специально выведенных лошадях, которые не бегают галопом, а только рысью, не имеют никаких оснований», – сказал в одной из программ питерского ТВ специалист по рысистым испытаниям Сергей Сумбаев. Александр Невзоров назвал методы работы с лошадьми извращенческими, а самих спортсменов – садистами и призвал запретить конный спорт.

«Это забава, которую придумал для себя человек, паразитирование на физических возможностях существа, не согласного заниматься спортом и принуждаемого к этому болью и побоями». Оседланная лошадь – это лошадь со сломленной волей, утверждает Невзоров. В то время как сам он в своей школе Nevzorov Сhaut Есole («Высшая школа») работает с лошадьми без «железа», а только лишь, как сам он рассказывает, завоевав душу лошади.

Во Всемирной паутине фильмы Александра Невзорова вызвали горячее обсуждение. Люди плакали, писали письма, конники отказывались заходить в конюшни. Конный мир раскололся на два лагеря: сторонников Невзорова и его противников. Наиболее активные из первых пополнили ряды его соратников. Ну, а вторые… затаили обиду. Вступать в прямую полемику не хотят. Невзоров, приводя доказательства своей правоты, обезоруживает своими знаниями в области анатомии и физиологии лошади. Большинству крыть нечем. Тем более что, как говорит сам Невзоров, «главная проблема российских лошадников – невежество, отсутствие элементарных представлений о лошади, тренинге, ветеринарии, конюшенном управлении».

С тех пор как Александр Невзоров впервые рассказал о жизни лошади в конном спорте, эта тема подавалась в СМИ несколько односторонне: либо с его точки зрения, либо с точки зрения его оппонентов. В то время как отношения человека и лошади гораздо более глубокие и неоднозначные… И чтобы увидеть многогранность этой проблемы, необходимо ответить на целый ряд вопросов. Прежде всего: хочет лошадь работать или человек действительно принуждает ее к этому?

«Лошадь создана, чтобы работать. Иначе у нее пропадет внешний вид, она зачахнет, разжиреет и погибнет. И тогда ее придется утилизировать», – отвечает вице-президент Тракененского союза, старший тренер Московской области по выездке, тренер КСК «Новый век» Инесса Потураева. «Есть даже такая поговорка: без работы кони дохнут», – говорит первый вице-президент Содружества рысистого коневодства России Алла Ползунова. «Лошадь – домашнее животное, это как орудие труда, средство для пахоты или перевозки грузов», – суховато и прагматично поддерживает своих коллег один высокий чин из конной милиции.

Оказывается, у лошадей, как и у людей, движение – это жизнь. И по сравнению с человеком гиподинамия проявляется особенно быстро. В клинику КСК «Новый век» привозили такую лошадь – с ожирением печени из-за обильного питания и недостатка работы. Кстати, милицейские лошади на работу идут нехотя и лениво, а домой – весело и намного быстрее. Лошади вообще хорошо знают дорогу домой и ориентируются даже в лесу. Если милиционеры при патрулировании лесной зоны заблудились – бросают повод, и лошадь разворачивается в сторону конюшни. А когда подходит время окончания рабочего дня, сама «ведет» домой. «Тут она, конечно, не переработает», – улыбается милицейский руководитель.

В московской конной милиции была лошадь, которая, выходя из конюшни, начинала хромать на все четыре ноги. Похромает-похромает, видит – не действует, и перестает, идет на службу. Но в принципе энергии у лошади много – целая лошадиная сила. И, застоявшись за ночь в деннике, она с удовольствием выходит в манеж, и ее не остановить, пока не сбросит «ночную пыльцу». А если лошадь с неуравновешенным характером и безудержность бьет через край, прежде чем начать с ней работать, ее проминают кругов десять, чтобы немного утомить. И свою нужность человеку лошадь чувствует. У Инессы Потураевой был конь Запорожец. Когда он состарился и его перестали брать на соревнования, он жутко переживал. Хозяйка готовила другого коня, а Запорожец себе места не находил.

Вопрос второй: с чем связано применение строгих средств управления в рысистых испытаниях? И действительно ли они могут повредить рот лошади до крови? «Есть такая поговорка: спереди кусается, сзади лягается, – объясняет Алла Ползунова. – В рысистых испытаниях человек сидит в качалке, сзади лошади. Это опасно, она бьет задними ногами. Если как следует двинет – беда».  Управление в качалке – самое сложное. Верхом всадник управляет и корпусом, и шенкелем (ногой от стопы до колена). А в качалке – только руками и удилами. Если верховая лошадь сбросит всадника, убежит только с седлом, а рысак уходит вместе с экипажем. Это огромная проблема: лошадь пугается, получает психологическую травму. И потом с ней трудно работать. Поэтому и используются строгие удила.

Если лошадь хорошо себя ведет, удила спокойно лежат у нее на уголках рта, и человек с ней «разговаривает». Только понесла – немного сжимают нижнюю челюсть и упираются в нёбо. «Но речь о сильной боли не идет», – уверяет Алла Ползунова. Всадник, управляя лошадью, если она правильно запряжена и выезжена, вообще большой силы не применяет. Повод лежит у него между мизинцем и безымянным пальцем. И работает он именно пальцами, а не руками. Все управление лошадью как раз и заключается в том, чтобы чувствовать баланс – между причинением небольшой боли и ее отсутствием. Разве что бывает «тугоузная» – трудноуправляемая или «дурноезжая», которая была хорошо подготовлена, но ее испортил дилетант. «Но даже в этих случаях лошадь исправляют мягкой и терпеливой работой», – уверяет представитель конной милиции.

Вопрос о повреждении рта лошади удилами вызвал некоторое замешательство у наших экспертов. Профессиональные конники в разговоре с людьми не из конного мира вообще стараются избегать темы «крови». То ли опасаются сказать лишнего, то ли боятся быть неправильно понятыми. Алла Ползунова, например, поначалу ответила весьма уклончиво. И только спустя некоторое время признала: «Если их применять бездарно, можно и челюсть сломать».

«Правда ли, что человек вырывает зубы лошади, чтобы вложить в рот «железо»?» – вопрос заведующей ветеринарной клиникой КСК «Новый век» Лилии Коростелевой. «Чтобы вложить в рот «железо», человек не делает ничего специального. Лошадь от природы с беззубым краем. Удаляются «волчки» – зубы мудрости, как у человека. Они без корня, их принято удалять. Лошади делается обезболивание, и щипчиками осторожно расшатывается зуб. При этом даже кровотечения не бывает». Удаление зуба у лошади, как выяснилось, – процесс мучительный и сложный. И просто так, без медицинских показаний, этим никто не будет заниматься. «Что касается «железа», оно лежит во рту на расстоянии 3–4 см от зубов, – продолжает лошадиный доктор. – Существуют строгие ограничения: оно должно быть мягким и не более 10 см. На соревнованиях соблюдение этих требований проверяют, нарушение ведет к дисквалификации».

А нагрузка? У лошади действительно идет кровь из носа из-за перенапряжения? И в каком возрасте заезжают лошадь? «Нагрузка дается в соответствии с возрастом, – заверяет Инесса Потураева. – Скаковые, маленькие, лошади – рысаки, «чистокровные» или «арабы» – быстроспелые. То есть в 2 года уже почти взрослые, и их можно постепенно заезжать. А большие – «ганноверы», например, формируются только к семи годам. Профессиональные конники знают это и никогда не сядут на лошадь раньше времени, пока опорнодвигательный аппарат не сформировался. Кровь из носа у лошадей – из-за слабых сосудов. Это такое же заболевание, как и у человека. Лошадь начинают лечить, если не помогает, ее больше не используют».

Электрошок, по словам Инессы Потураевой, давно запрещен, используется только на скотобойнях. Шпоры – большие и острые – применялись в Средние века. Сейчас их делают маленькими, вращающимися, с закругленными зубчиками, из мягкого металла, и порезать кожу они не могут. Во всяком случае, именно такие показала Инесса Потураева автору этих строк. Используются шпоры в зависимости от чувствительности бока. У лошади за подпругой нервное окончание. Человек прижимает шенкель, лошади становится щекотно, и она двигается вперед. Для одних лошадей, с притупленной чувствительностью, – тяжеловесов и инертных – шпоры нужны, чтобы усилить шенкель. Для других – нет. Что касается надрезов на боку, у первой встречной лошади, шагавшей по территории КСК «Новый век», ничего похожего на рубец от надреза не обнаружилось. Если только он не зарос шерстью…

Хлыст, как говорят конники, – это подсказка. И нужен не столько для удара, сколько для обозначения посыла. В скачках у жокея ведь нет длинной посадки, чтобы ногами послать лошадь вперед. По сравнению с всадником и наездником жокей испытывает гораздо большую физическую нагрузку. И вряд ли может на огромной скорости так замахнуться, чтобы сильно ударить лошадь и причинить ей боль. «Сорок посылов – это смешно, – говорит Лилия Коростелева. – Их количество строго ограничено правилами, не больше пяти. На двухлетних лошадях хлыст вообще не применяется. А по поводу огромной внутренней гематомы, которая была показана в фильме, – я, как врач, даже не могу представить себе, какой должна быть сила удара, чтобы такое произошло. Лошади для этого надо выстрелить в круп».

Вообще-то в конном спорте нет терминов «боль» и «бить». А есть «ограничение» и «наказание». Человек ограничивает движение лошади железом. И наказывает, когда другой способ «диалога» не дает эффекта. Ограничение и наказание… Не это ли и есть сломленная воля лошади? «Мы ограничиваем движения соба ки поводком, – вступает в разговор заслуженный мастер спорта, тренер КСК «Новый век», ветеринарный врач Юрий Файнштейн. – Мы ограничиваем своих детей, образовывая их. Они могли бы ходить по улице и ничего не делать. Но они сидят и учат гаммы, потому что у них через месяц конкурс. Это во благо ребенку? Да. Почему считается, что ограничение лошади – большого и сильного животного – не во благо?»

Дочь Юрия Файнштейна – спортсмен-конник, чемпионка Балканских стран – тоже смотрела фильмы Невзорова. Со слезами на глазах от жалости к лошадям и… с загипсованной ногой. Конь ударил ее о бетонный бордюр. Ведь это только так говорят, что лошадь – добрая и ласковая. А по сути это дикое, агрессивное животное с необузданной тягой к играм, состязанию и доминированию, иногда очень коварное. Сколько-нибудь хорошая по потенциалу будет проявлять характер и навязывать человеку свою волю. А что такое нервный, необученный молодняк? Или озлобленная лошадь? Это непредсказуемость и смертельная опасность. «Лошадь должна знать, что человек сильнее, – говорит Юрий Файнштейн. – Если человек берет на себя функции главного, лошадь идет за ним, как за вожаком. В противном случае лошадь берет их на себя. И может доставить много проблем».
