13–14 января в американском Сент-Поле стартует очередной сезон стремительно набирающего популярность в мире спортивного экстрима скоростного спуска на коньках (Ice Cross Downhill). Второй официальный чемпионат мира Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012 соберет на захватывающих дух ледяных трассах по обе стороны Атлантики лучших спортсменов мира. Среди них – россиянин Андрей Лавров, чей прошлогодний дебют произвел настоящий фурор и вознес его на 7-е место в рейтинге лучших конькобежцев-экстремалов в мире.
В интервью Sportweek, которое Андрей дал по окончании прошедшей в начале декабря российской квалификации, определившей его напарников по российской сборной в Red Bull Crashed Ice 2012, спортсмен признался, что до сих пор не избавился от «синдрома дебютанта», поблагодарил родителей за привитую ими любовь к спорту и рассказал о намерении попытать силы в профессиональном хоккее.
— Скорость, драйв, адреналин – так воспринимают Red Bull Crashed Ice его многочисленные поклонники. А каким видится все это изнутри – самими участниками?
— Как у нас в России говорится про хоккеистов? «В хоккей играют настоящие мужчины». Ну а про тех, кто занимается скоростным спуском на коньках, можно сказать – в нем участвуют только настоящие хоккеисты! (смеется) А если серьезно, очень сложно передать те эмоции, которые испытываешь, участвуя в подобных соревнованиях. Гонки сами по себе являются чем-то гипнотическим. Наверное, именно поэтому между участниками складываются замечательные отношения, вне зависимости от страны и языка, на котором они говорят. В заездах мы все соперники, но за кулисами – что-то вроде настоящего братства.
— Ваш прошлогодний дебют наделал шуму. Почетное 4-е место в финале проекта и общее 7-е в мировом рейтинге по итогам сезона. Ожидали от себя такой прыти?
— За это стоит благодарить родителей и тренеров, которые дали мне все необходимое и воспитали патриотизм и стремление к победе. На льду я просто старался показать лучшее, на что был способен. Все-таки защищал честь родной страны.
— На финале в Квебеке вы в первом же заезде сломали руку. Нелегко, наверное, было добраться до решающей гонки?
— Так получилось, что в основную часть этапа в Квебеке из 64 спортсменов вышли сразу 34 канадца. И никто из них не хотел ударить лицом в грязь перед 115 000 зрителей. Плюс они очень хотели помочь своему соотечественнику Кайлу Кроксоллу занять первое место. А для этого нужно было выбить из борьбы будущего чемпиона финна Артту Пилайнена и других сильных спортсменов. В первом же забеге, где я бежал с двумя канадцами и чехом, на одном из поворотов получил умышленный толчок в спину и зацепился рукой о стык бортов. К счастью, несмотря на сильную боль, получилось удержаться на коньках и добраться до финиша первым. Позже выяснилось – в момент удара я сломал 4-ю пястную кость. Сложно сказать, насколько эта травма повлияла на дальнейший ход событий. С одной стороны, я почти полностью лишился возможности выдергиваться из стартовых ворот за счет рук (а быстрый старт был моим козырем на протяжении практически всех гонок). С другой, у меня появился некий «якорь», который позволил отвлечься от окружающей обстановки и тем самым снял психологическое напряжение.
— К слову, в финальном заезде вы ведь могли и в призеры попасть, кабы не влетели в борт на последнем вираже. Обидно вот так упускать медаль?
— Конечно, обидно, что не смог подняться на подиум. Можно много говорить о причинах, которые мне помешали, и сваливать все на травмированную руку или усталость, но результат по делу. Ребята, которые меня обогнали, были лучше и куда опытнее.
— Быстро ли по ходу сезона избавились от свойственного дебютантам волнения?
— Честно говоря, с этим самым волнением до сих пор не удалось справиться. Сижу, отвечаю на вопросы, а как только задумаешься о предстоящих гонках – сразу трясти начинает! (смеется)
— Вас прозвали «Русской ракетой». Совсем как Павла Буре. Льстит?
— Приятно, конечно. Но такое прозвище и такое сравнение со знаменитым хоккеистом заставляют соответствовать уровню, что накладывает дополнительную ответственность. Так что и льстит, и немного пугает.
— Хоккей ведь для вас, сына лучшего в истории питерского СКА бомбардира, игрока сборной СССР Вячеслава Лаврова, имеет большое значение?
— Вся моя жизнь так или иначе связана с хоккеем. Родители всегда мне говорили: «Чем бы ты ни занимался в жизни, всегда будешь связан со спортом». Не знаю, почему они это говорили, но так и вышло!
— В 2008-м хоккейный свитер с фамилией вашего отца, трагически погибшего 11 лет назад, повесили под сводами Ледового дворца в Петербурге. Приятно было?
— На самом деле, это было довольно странно. На протяжении многих лет все обсуждали, почему свитер Лаврова не висит под сводами Ледового дворца. В конечном итоге нам с матерью удалось задать этот вопрос напрямую руководству СКА. На что они ответили, что, конечно, сделают все как подобает. Но, увы, нас не то что не пригласили, но даже не предупредили о том, когда произойдет церемония. В любом случае очень рад, что свитер отца висит в зале славы СКА, и очень этим горжусь.
— У вас, в отличие от отца, с хоккеем на серьезном уровне не сложилось. Почему?
— В 11-м классе начались проблемы со здоровьем. Стало скакать давление. После обследования врач посоветовал оставить профессиональный спорт. К счастью, сейчас все нормально. И хочется верить, что у меня получится добиться успеха в хоккейной форме. Пусть даже без клюшки, пусть слетая с ледяной горы… К слову, мысли вернуться в профессиональный спорт меня не оставляют до сих пор. Тем более что и ряд предложений имеется. Есть возможность в следующем году попробовать себя в Германии или Чехии в качестве профессионального хоккеиста.
— В память о вашем отце вы основали «Хоккейную школу им. Вячеслава Лаврова» (Lavrov Ice School), где являетесь и директором, и одним из тренеров. Когда и как вам пришла в голову эта идея?
— Это была не только моя идея. Во многом мне помогли Никита Тарасевич (мы играли вместе за команду СКА 87-го г. р.) и Андрей Петелин (один из моих воспитанников – хоккеист-любитель). Сразу после окончания хоккейной карьеры я стал тренировать детей. Уже в 17 лет мне доверили вести команду. Во время работы приходилось некоторым детям уделять дополнительное время, ведь кто-то был лучше, а кого-то, наоборот, надо было подтянуть. Постепенно эти занятия с массовых катаний перешли на отдельно арендованный лед. В конечном счете захотелось упорядочить этот процесс не только с педагогической точки зрения, но и с юридической.
— Заниматься в вашей школе может каждый?
— Да, мы доступны для всех желающих независимо от возраста и пола. Самому младшему воспитаннику школы было 2 года, старшему – 65. Среди них конечно же были и девушки. (улыбается).
— Проблем у школы хватает?
— Не без этого. Основная, наверное, – то, что федерация хоккея Санкт-Петербурга долгое время не могла понять, для чего был создан этот проект. В какой то момент вышло так, что директора многих клубов дали установку: «Увольнять тренеров, сотрудничающих с Lavrov Ice School, а детей, замеченных на дополнительных тренировках, отчислять из команд». Но вот этим летом наши сборы посетили немцы. Очень заинтересовались проектом и предложили попробовать развить его в Германии. Так что по большому счету теперь школа развивается в Берлине. Хотя я очень не хочу оставлять ребят из России и уже сейчас планирую традиционные летние сборы в Белоруссии, Новгороде и Петербурге.
— Ваша тренерская специализация (если верить сайту школы) – дриблинг и катание. Говоря о катании, не приметили еще среди учеников потенциальных кандидатов в свои преемники на льду проектов Red Bull?
— Многие из ребят, как узнали, чем занимается их тренер, тоже захотели попробовать себя в новом виде спорта. Правда, в данный момент в Crashed Ice возрастное ограничение – 18 лет. Посмотрим, не остынут ли мои воспитанники, дожидаясь собственного 18-летия. Парочка ребят, думаю, может добиться хороших результатов в этих гонках.
— Среди своих увлечений вы указываете маунтинбайк, FMX, сноубординг, стрит-рейсинг и даже стрит-файтинг. Считаете себя поклонником экстрима?
— После окончания хоккейной карьеры я довольно серьезно увлекся MTB дисциплиной Dirt Jumping, где велосипедисты прыгают по трамплинам из глины и песка, исполняя различные трюки. Но, после того как, пытаясь исполнить Back Flip No-Hand (сальто без рук), сломал ключицу и перенес три операции, решил оставить это увлечение. Есть ведь и другие. Например, каждую зиму стараюсь не упускать возможности покататься на сноуборде, периодически заезжаю посмотреть на гонки стрит-рейсеров (сам не участвую – машину жалко). Что касается стрит-файтинга, то это увлечение пошло от моих друзей со стрит-рейса. И не стоит переводить street-fighting дословно – это не имеет ничего общего с уличными драками. Скорее разновидность уличных гонок. Преимущественно на мотоциклах. Вообще я очень люблю смотреть экстремальные соревнования. Да и поучаствовать в чем-то для себя новом всегда тянет.
— Скоро Новый год. 2011-й был Годом Кролика, вашим годом. Как считаете, он удался?
— В уходящем году было много позитивных моментов. Да и, признаться, я как-то не привык, оглядываясь назад, вспоминать что-то плохое.
— Самый яркий и счастливый Новый год в вашей жизни?
— Сложно назвать какой-то конкретный праздник. В голову приходят только отрывочные картинки из детства, когда с утра, чуть проснувшись, бежали с братом искать подарки под елкой… Или когда мне подарили набор хоккейных карточек, в котором оказались Михайлов, Петров и Харламов. Тогда это было дико популярно среди ребят нашей команды. Такие карточки я, к слову, больше нигде не видел.
— Когда разуверились в Деде Морозе, помните?
— На один из праздников – не берусь сказать, сколько лет мне было, – мы пригласили мальчика из команды, в которой играл мой брат. В тот самый момент, когда я нашел под елкой подарок, он начал вовсю кричать, что видел, как родители его положили, и что Деда Мороза не существует… Праздник был испорчен, остаток вечера я провел в слезах. (смеется)
— Каким, по-вашему, должен быть идеальный новогодний вечер?
— Компания самых близких людей, родители и лучшие друзья. Пушистая елка, которую украшают всей семьей, шампанское, бенгальские огни, снег… Мне кажется это очень семейный праздник, который обязательно нужно встретить дома, в кругу близких. А уж потом можно идти гулять и праздновать…
— Часто ваши новогодние желания исполнялись?
— Удивительно, но я не помню, чтобы хотел на Новый год что-то конкретное. И, вспоминая сейчас подаренные мне подарки, понимаю, что искренне радовался каждому! А что касается загаданных под бой курантов желаний, не могу даже вспомнить, что и когда загадывал. Видимо, сказываются сотрясения мозга… (смеется)
— Ну, тогда, пока не забыли, придумайте, что можно пожелать в 2012-м?
— Исполнения желаний. Ну и обещанный конец света, конечно, тоже как-то напрягает. Думаю, его можно перенести (смеется).
