В интервью Sportweek Александр рассказал о своей карьере и жизненных ценностях.
— Многие мечтают повторить ваш успех или хотя бы приблизиться к нему. Под какой счастливой звездой нужно для этого родиться?
— Я думаю, что тут должно совпасть многое: удача, желание, способности. Мне повезло – у меня спортивная семья, меня в 9 лет отдали в хоккей, и я сразу полюбил это дело. А мог бы оказаться в футболе или баскетболе. И тогда, честно, даже не знаю, чем бы сейчас занимался. А вообще, так не бывает, чтобы человек просто сам по себе родился и вырос – неважно кем, но кем-то определенным – хоккеистом или, к примеру, хирургом. Все это достигается большим трудом.
— Вы в итоге довольны результатом своих усилий?
— Ну, конечно, как же я могу быть недовольным!
— В последнем рейтинге знаменитостей Forbes вы обосновались на второй строчке среди спортсменов. Впереди только Мария Шарапова. У вас есть цель ее опередить? И вообще, как вы относитесь к подобным рейтингам?
— По большому счету, мне без разницы. Хоть на сотое место поставьте – все равно. Самое главное, что я живу любимым делом, зарабатываю деньги честным трудом. Своим потом и кровью. Так что к рейтингам я отношусь совершенно спокойно.
— Насколько совпадают правила Овечкина-спортсмена и Овечкина-человека на площадке и в жизни?
— Ну, наверное, это лучше спросить у моих друзей и знакомых, которые видят меня со стороны. Я сам вообще не делю свою жизнь на «до» и «после». Неважно, на площадке или нет, я люблю спорт, я люблю скорость, у меня всегда адреналин в крови. И крутые тачки я покупаю не ради статуса – они мне просто нравятся. У меня к жизни отношение спортивное: если что-то не удается, это еще не значит, что этого не надо добиваться. Опять же, я успешен в спорте, а спорт – это моя жизнь. И я добиваюсь своих целей и в спорте, и в жизни одинаково.
— То есть, по сути, ваша профессия – это и есть ваша жизнь, и наоборот?
— Ну да. Я два в одном, как шампунь-кондиционер (смеется).
— Отражается ли ваш стиль жизни и на стиле одежды? За пределами площадки, конечно.
— О, это чисто российский вопрос: у нас все помешаны на брендах. В Америке все совсем по-другому. Ты приезжаешь туда и понимаешь, что лучше одеваться так, как тебе удобно. У меня прошел тот период, когда я придавал этой теме значение. Я просто принял решение забить на стереотипы и одеваться так, как мне хочется. Захотел – надел шорты. Захотел – надел джинсы. Вообще, я люблю спортивную одежду. Правда, в некоторых случаях приходится соблюдать дресс-код. Например, в Америке на игры положено приезжать в костюме. Еще я костюм на экзамен надевал. И на свадьбу. Не на свою.
— Кстати, а к девушкам, к их стилю у вас какие требования?
— О, нет, девушка, как я представляю, должна выглядеть сногсшибательно. Как все, с кем я тут общаюсь.
— В вашей жизни есть место каким-то специфическим спортивным ритуалам или суевериям?
— Не думаю, что они специфические. У каждого игрока есть свои маленькие «бредятины». Впрочем, как и у всех людей. Ну, к примеру, вставать только с левой ноги. Все это «родом из детства». Допустим, человек придумывает себе, что если он пойдет не налево, а направо, то ему повезет больше. И на психологическом уровне это действует. У меня тоже свой ритуал перед игрой. Ритуал, конечно, – это громко сказано. Просто стараюсь делать одни и те же вещи.
— А как вы вообще отдыхаете? Релаксируете или продолжаете жить в том же темпе?
— Ну, это надо видеть. Об этом в двух словах не расскажешь. Конечно, если мы едем на море, можно пару дней тихо отдохнуть на пляже, на пирсе или в тенечке. Но вообще лежать и читать книжку, думать о вечности – это не для меня на 100%. Я люблю движуху.
— И поэтому летом вы часто бываете именно в Москве?
— Москву я люблю по многим причинам. Во-первых, семья, друзья, культура русская, и конечно же ночная и дневная жизнь. Ребята, девушки – все в образе.
— А в сети вас можно найти?
— Можно, но нечасто. У меня есть свой сайт, есть странички в Твиттере, и на Facebook. Но у меня нет времени находиться там постоянно. Бываю разве что на «Одноклассниках». Смотрю, кто заходил, что написали. Даже не помню, когда последний раз отвечал…
— За вами закрепилась репутация жесткого игрока. А в жизни какие ситуации могут спровоцировать вас на жесткую позицию?
— Если в игровом эпизоде спортсмен проявляет агрессию, это еще не значит, что он по жизни придерживается такой модели поведения. Я вообще не подпускаю к себе очень близко людей, стараюсь проверять их на деле. А так я обычный парень, который любит повеселиться и отдохнуть, провести хорошо время с друзьями. Ну, опять же, меня сейчас удивить очень сложно: разве что сделать что-то абсолютно невероятное.
— К теме невозможного и возможного: ваша оценка перспектив победы сборной на Олимпиаде в Сочи?
— Поживем – увидим. В последнее время было сказано столько, что рассуждать на эту тему не вижу смысла. И у болельщиков будет время самостоятельно сделать выводы. Тем более что их ждут некоторые приятные сюрпризы.
— Вы всегда безотказно приезжаете играть за сборную. Почему для вас это так важно?
— Ну, я же русский человек! Я думаю, для каждого важно представлять свою страну.
— Но не все это делают!
— Вопрос был адресован мне, а я это делаю. Можно сказать, что я таким образом отдаю честь своей стране.
— У вас есть какой-то идеал спортсмена?
— Ну, конечно. В первую очередь это мои родители. Отец был футболистом, а мать – баскетболисткой. Если говорить о победах, то у меня перед глазами всегда стояла мама: она олимпийская чемпионка и чемпионка мира. В общем, лучшая из лучших. А если брать хоккейный мир, то это такие люди, как Мальцев, Харламов и конечно же Павел Буре.
— Сегодня вы сами стали кумиром: вот лежат диски с игрой НХЛ-2007, где вы на обложке. Знакомые дети умоляли, чтобы вы для них автографы оставили.
— Забавно. Кстати, когда я не был тем, кто я сейчас, то часто играл в «игрушечный» хоккей, создавал игроков, создавал самого себя. И когда в 2007 г. меня поставили на обложку… я все это очень ясно вспомнил. Хотя, конечно, представить себя сейчас гоняющим шайбу на компе я могу с трудом. Мне хоккея в жизни более чем хватает.
